Garden-grown and ethically sourced British flowers for weddings and events.
Martha is a florist and gardener based in East London.
She grew up roaming on allotments and vegetable gardens, spending weekends walking on Dartmoor and swimming in the river Dart, immersed in but totally unbothered by nature. It wasn’t until she moved to London that she realised how much it meant to her.
As she worked at hundreds of weddings at the Fitzrovia Chapel, she saw flowers upon flowers and suddenly the obsession began. She couldn’t stop looking at flowers.
Martha is now as passionate about growing as she is arranging flowers, and prioritises garden grown and locally sourced British blooms. She is well aware of the sustainability issues associated with the floristry industry, so does what she can to avoid contributing to this. She never uses toxic floral foam and avoids using imported flowers sprayed with dangerous pesticides.
With eight years experience in weddings and events, and three years experience in floristry, she is excited to take on more projects where she can showcase her skills.
She also holds an RHS Level 2 qualification in Practical Horticulture and is available for maintenance gardening work.
